Myeongtae means dried pollock in Korean.

Inspired by the Korean tradition of hanging dried pollock as a charm carrying wishes for good fortune and protection, Wetnose transformed this familiar cultural symbol into a playful pet toy.

The body is made with quilted fabric inspired by the quilting traditionally used in Korean clothing, adding a subtle textile detail to the traditional motif.
