Assi is an old Korean term for a young lady.

This headpiece is inspired by traditional Korean dress and features fabric decorated with auspicious motifs.
Its pinwheel-like patchwork arrangement carries a traditional protective meaning, while motifs such as peonies, butterflies, and tigers symbolize wishes for prosperity and honor.
Symbols of longevity, including cranes, turtles, and deer, express wishes for a long and healthy life.

The decorative binyeo-inspired detail is finished with a design inspired by traditional Korean hairpin knotting, adding another small piece of Korean craftsmanship to the look.
